Quail Creek Reservoir (also called Quail Lake) is one of Utah’s best known bass fisheries, and has produced good largemouth fishing and big fish since shortly after it was impounded in 1985. It is located 8 miles west of the city of Hurricane and 10 miles northeast of St. George, just off Interstate Highway 15. It covers 590 surface acres and is 185 feet deep when full. The lake’s depth allows for good fishing for respectable rainbow trout throughout the year. A State Park boat ramp and campground are available. The park entrance fee is $10 per vehicle.

Sand Hollow Reservoir is the newest of Washington County’s largemouth bass reservoirs, located near Hurricane and just a stone’s throw south from Quail Lake. It requires a state park entrance fee of $7 per vehicle. Public access to the reservoir is available only through the state park.

The professional bass fishing guides at His Way Fishing provide you with a boat, rods, reels, tackles, and everything else you need for a perfect day out on the water.
