Our TripAdvisor reviews detail some of the highlights: “It was a perfect location for visiting all the great sights in the area such as Zion, Bryce, Kolob Canyon, the list goes on. The park was in excellent shape and very well maintained. The laundry facility was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly.”

Another TripAdvisor reviewer took it up a notch and stated that “This park is probably the cleanest, best-kept park I have traveled to.” At WillowWind, we take these comments to heart, and truly appreciate our guests sharing their experiences with us - and the rest of the world. Hearing from tourists visiting the area and leaving with a positive experience and outlook on Hurricane Valley is what we hope to continue promoting as we grow with the city.

Getting to Know Hurricane

After receiving word of this great honor from the Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce, we were also invited to attend a luncheon and meet some of the people of the community and connect. A few members of the WillowWind team attended the luncheon and received the Business of the Month award with much respect and appreciation for the chamber’s kind words of praise for our business.

Did you know? “Hurricane” as the name of the town itself can be misleading. While named after a blustery wind came rushing upon a settler as he reached the top of a hill, Hurricane is not a region which experiences weather of the same name. It can sometimes get a little windy in the stormy season, you are not likely to see anything resembling a hurricane in the area. As a local, you would actually pronounce the city’s name “hurr-ah-kan” - so keep that in mind during your visit to help you “fit in” amongst the residents of the city.

Where to Find Us

In the town of Hurricane, WillowWind RV Park is located just a short distance from the center of town. The Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce describes the location as, “surrounded by the beautiful red rocks of Southern Utah and only a short drive to scenic Sand Hollow Reservoir and breathtaking Zion National Park. A bit farther, but still within a day-trip’s time, are the incomparable Grand Canyon, Duck Creek, and Brian Head Mountain Ski Resort.” The park’s location can be accessed easily if you are coming from or planning to visit any of these popular travel destinations.
